Position Summary

The Consumer Research & Insights Manager will have the unique opportunity to inspire and provoke transformational actions based on Compassion that is derived through deepening customer experience understanding across the entire Progress Residential enterprise.

To be successful in this role, you will be required to demonstrate thought leadership and become a trusted strategic partner to leaders across Sales, Operations, Marketing, Customer Care, and Data Analytics. The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying insights and opportunities across the entire Customer Journey and influence insights activation through storytelling

Essential Functions

  • Continuously monitor and evaluate Customer Journey Maps to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Proactively present through storytelling opportunities to cross functional teams to influence insight activation

  • Reduce customer pain points and inform the creation of experiences that delight our customers

  • Identify new ways to measure customer experience while leveraging new tools and technologies efficiently and effectively

  • Prioritize and successfully manage multiple projects on a timely manner

  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners to design and execute projects that will uncover actionable insights

  • Manage external partners and ensure that projects are completed within approved budgets

  • Partner with CX Platforms Manager to establish a best-in-class CX program while leveraging existing tools


  • Bachelor’s degree in MMR, Marketing or any other related field

  • MBA preferred but not required

  • 5+ years of Consumer Insights or Customer Experience

  • Experience in designing, managing, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative research initiatives

  • Advance skills in working with large data sets and extracting insights

  • Excellent written/oral communication and relationship building skills

  • Outstanding presentation skills to present to C-suite executives

  • Proficiency using and managing Qualtrics & Tethr platforms or any other CX platforms
