What you bring to the table:

Progress Residential® is seeking a highly qualified Senior Vice President, Field Operations to join our Executive Leadership Team. You’ll have extensive experience developing, refining and executing

a property management strategy for one of the country’s largest providers of high quality single-family rental homes. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, effective people manager and problem solver.

You’ll need outstanding communication skills and the ability to de-silo culture broadly across departments and platforms. Above all, you excel in process-driven operations. You understand how process fits into the logistical growth of our operation strategy.

This is a highly visible position reporting directly to our Chief Operating Officer. We’ll expect you to provide the executive leadership and direction needed to ensure all operational and strategic goals are achieved. That means you will be responsible for compliance issues, P&L management, departmental staffing plans and financial goals. We’ll also count on you to oversee the nationwide property management team, and enhance the operational scale of our organization.

Qualifications:

Of course, you also have the essentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 15 or more years of property management experience required.
  • Proven experience managing an operations P&L to meet or exceed budget.
  • Proven record with multi-location leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency of all Microsoft Office products.
  • 30-50% travel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding presentation skills.
  • Previous experience with Yardi and Salesforce preferred.
