Position Summary:

This position will supervise a team in a fast pace, high volume environment as well as work on ad hoc requests from Managers. Supervisor will ensure accurate, timely data entry processing in compliance with company policies and procedures. Position reports directly to Accounts Payable Managers.

Essential Functions:

* Daily supervision and support of Accounts Payable processing team

* Manage email inboxes and assign team batches of invoices to process daily

* Handle vendor escalations from internal departments

* Work with vendors directly building relationships as well as keeping aging reports current

* Work with team on payment processing

* Coordinate with our ACH vendor on any vendor ACH issues.

* Monitor workflow approval process to prevent payment delays

* Assist with workflow review as needed

* Work with team managers on urgent escalation ad hoc requests

* Reconcile stale dated check report

* Assist with audit requests

* Monitor and apply credits weekly

* Assist with implementation of process improvements

* Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

* Must have a minimum of 5 years, high volume AP experience

* Must have a minimum of 1 year prior AP Supervisory experience

* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)

* Must be able to thrive in fast paced, high volume environment

* Complex problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written format

* Ability to work with all levels of management

*Experience with Yardi a plus.
