JOB SUMMARY

The UI Designer will be responsible for working with the UX Design team to create engaging and intuitive user interfaces for our customers. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of user-centric design principles and a strong design sense. They will collaborate closely with the UX Design team, Product leadership, and Development teams to support our customer-facing initiatives and business goals.

The ideal candidate is obsessive about the customer experience and will pay close attention to detail and enforce design consistency across desktop and mobile site platforms. The right candidate enjoys collaborative efforts, taking feedback and input from your leadership, peers, partners and stakeholders. They communicate effectively and share a point of view that guides quality decisions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Collaborate with and take direction from UX Design team to define user interfaces aligned with business goals and customer needs.

• Design user interfaces and interactions for user testing and user research.

• Design elegant UI interactions to keep users informed and guide desired actions.

• Maintain and create complex Figma components for design systems.

• Develop scalable wireframes and prototypes with scalable design patterns.

• Work closely with development teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and to specifications.

• Collaborate with other designers to create design systems and guidelines enforcing consistency and quality across all customer-facing digital experiences.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our UI. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of user interface design experience working in an Agile development environment.

• Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodologies.

• A sharp eye and attention to detail

• Highly developed organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Experience designing consumer-facing web applications and mobile apps.

• E-Commerce experience preferred.

• Solid understanding of design principles and methodologies.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Demonstrated ability in developing wireframes, prototypes, and craft visual design elements for products.

• A portfolio demonstrating a range of UI design work and the ability to solve complex design problems.

• A good understanding of programming languages, content management systems and design tools
