The Analyst will work with the VP of Ancillary Services to originate, conceptualize, analyze, and assist in implementation of ancillary revenue opportunities for a nationwide rental portfolio of single-family homes.
Responsibilities will also include operational analysis & support, reporting, and creation of executive-level presentations.
Analyze new revenue opportunities and evaluate new potential partners for ancillary programs
Measure and report results (income, profit, and other success metrics) of ongoing projects
Help lead implementation of solutions across the portfolio with key stakeholders from Project Management, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Legal and other departments to achieve business goals
Present monthly with VP, Ancillary Services to executive management and create ad-hoc presentations for other internal stakeholders
Assist in market research to understand services and offerings that are of highest interest/value to Progress Residential residents
Compile and maintain knowledge base on ancillary and innovative projects/companies within the rental housing industry
Develop cross-functional relationships at all levels of the organization to learn and maintain deep knowledge of the business
Bachelor’s degree required
At least 2 years of analyst experience
Property management/real estate experience highly preferred
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines
Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong balance of business, financial and technical skills with the ability to communicate and drive initiatives cross functionally
Candidate must be resourceful, present well to management, and have the ability to take ownership over projects and recurring tasks
Candidate must be willing and able to work in a start-up atmosphere with a wide range of responsibilities and deal with evolving deadlines, requirements, and challenges
Technically proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and Power Point)
Yardi, Salesforce experience a plus
