JOB SUMMARY

The Community Relations Specialist (CRS) provides on-site support in all aspects of operations for the designated community or communities. Responsible for delivering the customer service experience and overseeing and assisting in; rent collections, marketing, leasing, showings, application gathering, move-in experience, resident inquiries, and maintenance resolutions. Ensures successful asset performance by leasing and marketing the community, following the guidelines of quality standards, operating objectives, and goals established by Progress Residential. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for all aspects of leasing and sales activities to achieve the company and client’s performance goals

  • Provide community and home touring experience, including greeting, home shows, application assistance, and overall excellent customer service

  • Manage and participate in incoming/outgoing calls, e-mails, texts, and case tasks, while ensuring professional dialogue and bringing appropriate resolution and closure to all forms of communication.

  • Creates marketing plans to drive traffic, including outbound marketing and online marketing tools such as ILS, property website, and social media

  • Responsible for maintaining community curb appeal and home quality standards by conducting frequent inspections, remediating issues, and communicating maintenance needs as applicable

  • Demonstrate basic/light maintenance and repair skills for completing minor service items such as re-keying smart locks and changing smoke detector batteries, light bulbs, air filters, and turn scopes

  • Monitors lease renewal program in advance of move-out dates to align with the company and client’s renewal retention goals

  • Assists in optimizing financial performance for the assigned community/area by achieving leasing, rent, occupancy and lease-up goals

  • Stays informed on current and future marketing conditions to provide creative recommendations to improve asset performance

  • Carry out other duties as assigned that are in the best interests of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required

  • 1+ years of progressive property management work experience.

  • 1+ years of previous property management experience in either the single family or multi-family rental industry.

  • Real Estate license Required

  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.

  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships internally and externally.

  • Possesses strong organizational skills and is detail oriented.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing, growth environment.

  • Fosters teamwork and mutual respect throughout the company.

  • Interacts productively in person and through technology with co-workers, team members.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Computer literacy, ability to comfortably navigate new technology and competency in MS Office suite a must.

  • Typical Physical Demands - Regularly required sitting and standing for several hours at a time, to climb up and down stairs, and completing frequent community inspections

  • Previous use of Yardi Voyager and Salesforce a plus.
