Position Summary
The Creative Manager is responsible for advancing our brand personality through consistent, cohesive visual communications involving graphic design, photography and videography. This role serves as a creative leader and a strategic problem-solver who will drive projects and support requests, large and small, with executional excellence.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain and implement brand creative style guidelines
Strategically design concepts that meet business objectives, while advancing our brand
Proof and guide any proposed usage of brand assets and designs.
Manage workflow for contract support and agency partners as appropriate.
Create a variety of digital marketing assets for owned and paid media; website elements, display advertising, programmatic advertising, social media posts/stories and email
Provide creative support for a variety of virtual and live presentation materials
Provide creative direction, support and feedback for photography selection and videography concepts, leveraging external agencies as appropriate
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, teams and partners throughout the creative process to ensure brand, strategy and goal alignment
Absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers, partners and stakeholders
Organize and archive a library of creative art files, assets and resources
Manage creative budget, tracking and proposals for creative resources
Actively engage in cross-functional collaboration to support a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
3-5 years of relevant experience in an in-house creative department or agency
2+ years of experience in a supervisory role
Proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Technical knowledge of art file preparation and procedures
Demonstrated knowledge of effective design principles related to typography, color, layout and photography
The ability to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs
Ability to strategize and execute, lead and have hands on
Possesses excellent problem-solving skills, treating challenges as opportunities
Motivated, flexible, detail-oriented, with proven organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
