Director, Accounts Receivable and Billing

The Director is responsible for leading the Accounts Receivable and Billing team and managing the close process and all activities, and workflows related to this function. This position is based in Scottsdale, AZ and will report directly to the SVP, Finance Operations. (At this time remote is not available for this role)
Lead a global Accounts Receivable and Billing organization for a Single Family Home LLC
Manage the entire accounts receivable process chain ensuring timely and accurate posting of all charges and credit to resident’s ledgers, applicant deposit accounting, and all other non-tenant deposits.
Manage the Accounts receivable monthly closing activity and analysis as required
Review bank and other account reconciliations
Review adjustments and accruals to the general ledger related to accounts receivable and bad debt.
Support the financial reporting teams with analysis and data as appropriate
Assist with ad hoc projects and reporting as necessary.
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting required
8-10 or years of Account Receivable and Billing experience
Proven leadership experience with a geographically dispersed or global team in a rapid and high growth environment driving scalability and efficiencies to processes
Yardi experience preferred
Real Estate/Property Management experience strongly preferred
Ability to be independent and a self-starter: is self-motivated and takes initiative
Ability to multi-task in a high growth and fast-paced environment
Proven problem solving, analytical, troubleshooting and time-management skills
Ability to effectively communicate with senior management
Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills; has ability to convey a clear and concise thought.
