Position Summary
The Director Business Transformation Services, guides strategy development, implementation, and execution of key initiatives across the organizations to deliver transformative, higher quality, more efficient and more cost-effective resident experiences and supporting processes. The role provides thought leadership and develops recommendations for process excellence maturity solutions.
Essential Functions
Working with the Senior VP, BTS: create, recommend, and orchestrate through the appropriate business leaders the quarterly and annual process excellence strategies and goals for Pretium and each of its owned entities. Provide hands-on leadership for the successful implementation of the strategies.
Delivers directly, through team members and via embedded entity process excellence resources on the process excellence goals and objectives for Pretium and each owned entity.
Scales, leads, and sustains nimble and high-performing project teams to solve large, complex, enterprise-wide process improvement, business transformation, change management, and integration of acquired business opportunities.
Develops a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.
Act as a business champion, internal consultant, transformation catalyst and proactive strategic driver. Guide operational leaders in understanding and usage of quality, continuous improvement, and process excellence methodologies by establishing links between process management initiatives and business strategies and identifying and prioritizing high-impact opportunities.
Influence ideas at all levels of the organization using structured thinking, hypothesis creation, and business-case style approaches
Advise and influence executive leadership on key business decisions and major change initiatives, building strong trusted advisor relationships
Orchestrate and deliver the appropriate quarterly, annual, and as needed BTS report outs, reviews, QBRs, etc.
Qualifications
Proven experience solving problems with a sense of recognizing opportunities, understanding risks and acting quickly to overcome obstacles and reach a solution all by following a deliberate and detailed process excellence methodology.
Demonstrative expertise in operating model transformation, technology implementation, data & analytics, process improvement and/or strategy implementation
Ability to deliver program management responsibilities including aspects of leading status meetings, identifying / tracking risks and mitigation plans, project planning, resource mobilization, cost tracking & financial updates.
Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision and effectively communicate (orally and in writing) with others, both internally and externally
Ability to organize, prioritize and allocate workload for optimum efficiency
Strong team player with a high level of professionalism
Multitasker in a constantly changing, fast paced environment
Experience managing process improvement initiatives regardless of size, including expertise with common methodologies (i.e., Six Sigma, Lean, Hammer, etc.)
Education and Experience
Minimum ten years relevant process excellence/business transformation experience and two years leading as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
Five years management or strategy consulting experience or equivalent preferred
Outcome metric focused and quantifiable results, Accounting validated a plus
Minimum of Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required, MBB preferred
Knowledge of Michael Hammer or derivative for Breakthrough Transformations a plus
Trained and demonstrated full application of change management required
Trained and demonstrated full application of project management required
4-year college degree required, Masters a plus
Computer skills - MS Office, Visio or other process mapping software, MiniTab or other statistical analysis software, SharePoint, Data Mining, SQL experience, Statistical modeling skills.
