This Director will be the National Leader responsible developing, expanding and rationalizing Progress’s nationwide programs in support of the renovation, turns and service business partners.  This includes programs like 3rd party inspections, rotations and other related programs, partnering with IT and Systems managers to optimize the scoping systems.   This role will also be the commercial focal for labor rates we pay renovation contractors partnering with the materials director and peers in Procurement and Renovations to determine the should cost for a renovation project.


  • Recruit, Negotiate and Manage Strategic Partners to be part of Progress’s network of partners to optimize how we manage, price and transact renovation projects.  Sell the vision of Progress future and the opportunity this presents for partners to grow their business.

  • Communicate with Renovations Team Leaders to understand gaps in Capacity or Coverage Area, and respond by developing and executing strategies to fill needs.

  • Work with Vendor Management to understand existing network, local market needs, support the onboarding workflows to completely onboard contractors to compliant/active status

  • Work with Materials Management team to understand Progress’s Supply Programs and assist in integrating material cost (along with labor (direct owner)) for total cost of renovation.

  • Be a Contractor "Training" Resource. After onboarding work with Renovation and Procurement leaders to ensure the Vendors are trained on Progress’s RTS Systems Processes and Tools

  • This role may require extensive travel to Progress Markets to meet face-to-face with Progress Leaders and Partners Owners/Founders to develop the relationships needed to meet Progress’s expansion goals.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Real Estate, Construction or Project Management

  • At least eight (8) years’ experience in residential construction, renovation or remodeling with at least three involving direct people leadership

  • Direct experience developing new or expanding strategic relationships either in Procurement/Sourcing or Sales/ Business Development

  • Direct experience and ability to analyze, present and discuss financial data in manner to influences business leaders.

  • Basic understanding of project management
