Director Procurement - Renovation Network

Recruit Contractors and Partners to be part of Progress’s Network. Sell the vision of Progress future and the opportunity this presents for Contractors to grow their business. Thinking like a Sales or Business Development Leader, pitch this opportunity as if we were selling it to these Contractors and "Close" deals with partners.
Communicate with Renovations Team Leaders to understand gaps in Capacity or Coverage Area, and respond by developing and executing strategies to fill needs.
Work with Contractors in Network to grow their business through internal expansion (hiring more crews) or process improvements. Escalate & Advocate for Contractors to improve Progress’s ability to recruit and retain strong partner contractors
Work with Vendor Management to understand existing network, local market needs, support the onboarding workflows to completely onboard contractors to compliant/active status
Work with Materials Management team to understand Progress’s Supply Programs and assist in deploying these critical programs through the Contractor Network to drive standards and price compliance, and maximize rebate capture
Be a Contractor "Training" Resource. After onboarding work with Renovation and Procurement leaders to ensure the Vendors are trained on Progress’s RTS Systems Processes and Tools
This role may require extensive travel to Progress Markets to meet face-to-face with Progress Leaders and Partners Owners/Founders to develop the relationships needed to meet Progress’s expansion goals.
Bachelor's Level Degree Studies or Experience in Business, Engineering, Real Estate, Construction or Project Management.
First-hand knowledge with 3-5 years’ experience in residential construction, renovation or remodeling
Direct experience developing new or expanding strategic relationships either in Procurement/Sourcing or Sales/ Business Development
Direct experience and ability to analyze, present and discuss financial data in manner to influences business leaders.
Basic understanding of project management
