The Financial Reporting Analyst (Accounting) is responsible for various accounting and financial reporting duties including preparation of monthly/quarterly financial reporting packages. The position reports to the Accounting Manager.
Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for third party clients.
Perform detailed financial and variance analysis
Post journals related to expense accruals, depreciation, and balance sheet reclasses
Facilitate onboarding of new clients and communities
Provide assistance during annual audits
Conduct special projects, prepare ad hoc reports and other services at the request of management
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
2+ years accounting experience
Candidate must be proficient in various software packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
CPA and Big 4 experience a plus
Residential real estate / property management experience a plus
Yardi, Salesforce experience a plus
