JOB SUMMARY

As a data driven company, Progress Residential is seeking a skilled and highly motivated analyst to join our People Operations team. This role will support our People Operations organization with their increasing need to analyze, model, interpret and report on data for their Human Capital strategies. Progress has a complex business structure which requires the candidate to possess a strong analytical aptitude with exceptional collaboration skills and have very effective prioritization skills and the ability to manage expectations for multiple projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Partner with the teams within People Operations, provide in-depth analytics to identify actionable insights and opportunities to enhance their ability to support the business.

  • Authenticates and interprets data based on results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining

  • Provides tactical support by regularly updating dashboards and various models in the Human Capital Analytics function

  • Creates and maintains reporting repository across multiple HR functions

  • Solicits stakeholder feedback and uses own insights to identify opportunities for improvement among existing reports (i.e., better data quality, enhanced visual presentation, timelier generation, etc.)

  • Supports continuous data and process quality improvement efforts using key performance indicator (KPI) metrics development and monitoring and the creation of informative data reporting/analysis process documentation

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, HR, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in analytics and reporting.

  • Strong analytical background, including experience with trend analysis, forecasting and experimental design.

  • Possesses exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects from conception to completion.

  • Exhibit keen attention to detail, prioritize assignments effectively and be flexible to shift priorities as needed, work within tight timeframes, meet deadlines and excellent follow-through.

  • Very effective at both being a team player and working independently.

  • Excellent Microsoft skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook). Advanced Excel capability

  • Experience with Workday and Workday Reporting is a plus.
