Position Summary

Progress Residential, and it’s holding company Pretium Partners, is looking for an Okta Administrator to take our current Okta environment to the next level.  You will provide day to day support implementation, help desk support and ongoing operations of identity solution management on our enterprise-wide Okta platform.   This would also include enablement and on-boarding of applications within multiple environments. This role will work closely with IT technical operations teams and business partners to improve adoption practices and support improvements to user experiences and platform services. 

Essential Functions

  • Work with stakeholders to integrate Okta SSO with the department's existing applications while minimizing the impact on business 

  • Configure factor enrollments, sign on and password policies and application policies 

  • Perform business use case analysis and quickly implement recommended POCs with Okta 

  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end deployment of Okta solutions for Consumer applications 

  • Work with the Workday team supporting our integration and changes between Workday and Okta 

  • Establish best practices for assigning applications to user groups and document the process 

  • Refine and improve Onboarding and Offboarding workflows and automation 

  • Completing day-to-day operational tasks to support users of the Okta service 

  • Lead initiative to identify application assignments based on department and role 

  • Troubleshoot Okta related issues and work with the Okta support team to resolve issues 

  • Perform audits of accounts on a routine basis for compliance 

  • Owns projects, overseeing a project from start to finish 

  • Accountable for establishing project milestones and project deliverables 

  • Routinely contributes to IT documentation and Knowledge Base 

  • Implement consumer authentication flows including simple and adaptive MFA along with flexible authorization, and role-based access control 

  • Implement CICD / deployment automation for Okta solutions to help deliver high quality software 

  • You are responsible for building and maintaining application assignments based on employee attributes such as role, department, and location 

  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify, track, and resolve technical issues 

Qualifications

  • Okta certified strongly preferred (admin, consultant and/or developer) 

  • You have 2-4 years of Okta administration, preferably in an enterprise environment 

  • You have worked with stakeholders to establish a project plan for migrating their applications over to Okta 

  • You have experience managing a Workday integration with Okta and support ongoing changes between the systems 

  • You are familiar with user provisioning and lifecycle management within Okta and integrated applications

  • You are a doer, strive for excellence, and make every effort to unblock issues 

  • You have a passion for automation and improving work efficiency 

  • A self-starter, ability to multitask, prioritize issues based on severity and work independently 

  • Maintains close attention to detail and follows a task to completion 

  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing 

  • You have experience leveraging APIs between applications to build automation workflow
