Job Summary

Progress Residential is making an impact on the single family residential rental industry by providing quality homes in growing markets while providing friendly and professional customer service. The Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the overall success of our marketing programs for Progress Residential. Responsibilities include developing marketing strategies and implementing tactics to accomplish company goals as well as executing day-to-day marketing assignments. This position requires a person who loves being on the front and back end of marketing who thrives on managing projects, driving results, exceeding expectations and find solutions and results within a rapidly changing environment.

Essential Functions

  • Act as the primary regional marketing point-of-contact for all markets.

  • Work closely to identify lead targets by geography. Use competitive, client, and market insights to inform business strategies and optimize impact of marketing spend.

  • Develop and continually improve reporting, and continuously explores ways to improve performance of programs against lead generation and budget goals.

  • Collaborate with the national marketing team to establish, implement, and maintain the goals and objectives of Progress Residential.

  • Complete marketing onboarding of new markets, new clients, and new communities

  • Research and build community marketing plans for existing and potential new business that attracts the identified target audience and strategically addresses business objectives, which are evaluated on an ongoing basis.

  • Regularly communicate with ownership groups, asset managers, and regional executive team members regarding marketing performance of any particular asset and / or overall portfolio.

  • Analyze market performance including occupancy, inventory, customer demographics and demand to develop and implement marketing plans, partnerships, and campaigns for Progress Residential owned and managed assets

  • Partner with Marketing, IT and Revenue Management teams for planning, approval, execution, and follow-up of all campaigns.

  • Manage software integrations with internal and external parties to ensure availability is listed at all times on websites and ILS’.

  • Ensure community photos and videos are of good quality, modern, optimized and published on the correct channels.

  • Regularly review and understand the market landscape to stay abreast of competitor strengths, weaknesses, and marketing initiatives.

  • Continually research and make recommendations on new opportunities and marketing channels in the local market.

  • Creates additional marketing ideas and campaigns for prospects, resident referrals, resident events, etc. to increase social media presence and drive qualified traffic to the communities.

  • Participates in regularly scheduled calls with regional operations leadership to review Marketing performance for individual property or regional manager portfolios and adjust strategy, tactics, and marketing investment as needed

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in digital, performance or real estate marketing experience required

  • BA / BS degree strongly preferred.

  • Excellent written, verbal and customer service skills. Ability to persuasively express ideas and opinions to individuals and groups.

  • Analytical skills with previous experience developing strategic marketing plans.

  • Proven track record of achieving marketing goals and demonstrating results from previous positions.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with senior executives and in teams.

  • Ability to work meticulously, well-organized with a keen eye for detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Excellent collaboration and project management skills

  • Highly critical thinker with the ability to bring creative solutions to existing processes

  • Flexible team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Advance use of Microsoft Office applications
