Position Summary:

Progress Residential is seeking a process-driven leader with experience in process improvement, strategic planning and resource management. It is an exciting time to be a part of our team as we are defining what the future strategy of our processes and systems will be and this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

You would work as a team member alongside the Business leaders, Product owners, Engineers, and other supporting team members to deliver solutions that help Progress Residential build smarter and more efficient platforms.

You would be a member of a team of technical leaders that are responsible for creating the technology strategy (Mobile, Web, Data, Cloud, etc.) of current and future systems.  You will be instrumental in helping our business leaders with mapping business processes for current and future state.  Standardizing how our platform work is prioritized to align with Enterprise goals.  Providing leadership around process improvement solutions and implementing changes across our organization.

Primarily responsible for defining processes that are standardized, repeatable, defined and managed.  You would be working within a team of Technical Analysts, Engineers and Administrators across the globe to delivery best in class technology solutions and service to our business partners.

You would be responsible for developing assets to enable the business leaders to standardize their methods for documenting and communicating software requirement changes and enhancements (e.g. process maps, business requirements, justifications and KPI). 


  • Planning and attending regular planning meetings and daily stand-ups.

  • Participate in design, discovery & learning workshops with the business and product teams (where applicable).  

  • Responsible for helping and teaching the business to document processes, ensuring that business needs are clearly stated, and performance and security requirements are aligned to our corporate policies and standards. 

  • Help business to learn how to identify and confirm business process risks and develop mitigating approaches.

  • Design and define a process to ensure business documentation/records are kept up to date, following any system changes and new project implementations.

  • Collaborating closely with the IT business applications teams, solutioning technologies that interface.

  • Follow Project Management methodologies like Kanban & Agile, for successful delivery of projects.

  • Actively participate in team and enterprise-wide process, architecture and engineering discussions. 

  • Engage and work with cross-functional leaders to understand and help define business principles, goals and strategy within scope of responsibility. 

  • Communicate to senior leaders regarding strategy direction and changes. 

  • Mentor business process owners and leads to ensure complexities are understood very clearly to implement solutions expeditiously with high quality. 


  • Minimum 4+ experience of standardizing process improvement models

  • Extensive experience in designing, implementing and documenting processes

  • Strong written, verbal communications, presentation skills, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills

  • Proven collaboration skills along with the ability to influence without authority

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management of Technology, or related field required

  • Ability to think clearly under pressure and flexible to change

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills working with complex system, process, and data issues

  • Strong business acumen, innately resourceful, curious, and smart when solving problems

  • Time/task management and organization skills to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong customer service skills - ability to interface effectively and establish quick credibility with enterprise business leaders

  • Work well in a virtual team environment with strong collaboration skills

  • Must have meticulous attention to detail, organization, and commitment to quality

  • Communicate regularly with user base regarding new features, enhancements, and changes to the system

  • Collaborate and build meaningful reports and dashboards for users, management, and leadership
