Position Summary

The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will be responsible for high volume, detailed processing of resident account adjustments and billing, to minimize response time and maximize resident satisfaction.  Must be organized, experienced with reconciliations and workflows, and be able to multi-task and meet daily production requirements.

Essential Functions

  • Supervise 5+ Accounts Receivable Specialists

  • Manage workflows via email or other tools to increase efficiency and turn-around time

  • Review and post a high volume of invoices, credit requests or receipts

  • Respond to escalated inquiries from internal departments and resolve discrepancies.

  • Cross train with other team members.

  • Communicate with offsite personnel for billing/receipt resolution

  • Assist in implementing enhanced company processes. 

Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of experience leading an Accounts Receivable or Billing department

  • Yardi experience preferred.

  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel (Vlookup, pivot tables).

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Organized work approach.

  • Ability to multi-task and work independently when needed.

  • Positive interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Works well in a team environment.

  • Honest, ethical and handles things in confidential manner.
