Position Summary:
The Senior Technical Systems Analyst will be responsible for working as a team lead, requirements gathering, business and functional requirements writing, working with system architects for products such as Yardi Voyager, Salesforce and custom applications with an enterprise view. The Senior Technical Systems Analyst will work closely with the Director of Business Applications in leading/mentoring the Technical Systems Analyst to drive projects to milestones and completion.
Essential Functions:
Manages portfolio of projects end to end, ensuring deliverables are met and act as a resource to other Technical Systems Analyst providing training and mentorship.
Takes a lead role for process improvement initiatives.
Work with key leaders and stakeholders to understand business process objectives, potential changes, challenges and areas in need of assessment/improvement.
Document business processes related to product, operations and systems.
Produce detailed functional requirement specifications from existing systems, previous drafts, and SME interviews.
Collaborate with product managers to balance product vison and voice of customer in order to recommend and deliver best in class solutions.
Explain system architecture to business stakeholders as it relates to business requirements.
Develops test strategies, creates user cases and manages the UAT process with business.
Provide input into user interface layouts and prepare mock-ups.
Support tracking of bugs/enhancements/features as part of the change management process
Liaise between product and technology groups to define business requirements.
Work with system architects to ensure system design meets business requirements.

Evaluate 3rd party applications to fulfill business needs, processes & requirements.
Facilitate and elicit consensus among project team members and various business stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in the field of technology, finance or business administration or 3 or more years of progressive experience in a business analyst role.
Solid experience in Property Management is desirable.
4+ years Yardi admin and development experience required.
Salesforce experience with admin/technical experience preferred.
3 or more years of experience as a technical business systems analysis supporting mid to large organizations utilizing software development life cycle (SDLC, Iterative) for integration projects.
3 or more years of experience developing user stories, process maps, user acceptance testing, product, and sprint backlogs on Agile driven development projects.
Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities. Ability to work with a complex field organization across geographical boundaries.
Solid, detail-oriented documentation and communication skills, and ability to translate technical concepts clearly for non-technical decision-makers.

Flexibility and attitude to achieve tight deadlines.
Proven experience providing detailed business problem analysis, process mapping, etc.
Travel to field offices for system rollouts or business workshops (approximately 10% Travel).
